I.T Hardware Recycling
Our procedure begins the moment you contact us to discuss collecting your redundant/retired IT equipment. We will double-check your information on our database to ensure that the collection goes as smoothly as possible. We are a very versatile company, so we can always arrange collections that work best for you.
Hardware Collection
In most cases, we can collect your equipment within three working days, if not quicker. We will provide you with a transfer note once we have collected all of your equipment (TN). This will include a summary of all items collected, which will be signed by both parties. We keep tools in our vehicles because we know some items will need to be disassembled in order to be removed from the facility (especially network cabinets).
We re-use, then re-furbish before recycling . Our engineers refurbish as much equipment as possible in order to keep majority of used IT equipment out of land fill. There is a large community of people who prefer to re use rather than buy brand new products due to their green agenda and financial needs such as the developing countries.
We have a variety of re-use options. Computers, servers, laptops, printers and tablets are professionally refurbished for resale as complete working units.
Data Destruction
T & J Associates employs DSS Mobile supplied by Data Safe Solutions, which is ADISA Product Assurance Certified to NIST 800-88 standards, for secure on-site and off-site data destruction. This ensures each data-bearing device undergoes a certified sanitisation process.
